a dad's log

I've been thinking why I need another blog. The first blog is about our high-school class (batch86.blogspot.com) wherein I don't contribute much often. The second is about my passion in the country's dairy industry(udder-wise). So a third would be something special.

Many blogs are often written by people who simply love to write and allow themselves to be exposed. Dangerous and fun at the same time. Some have the same topics and perspectives. Maybe this one will not be different.

In our inextinguishable desire to be apart from the rest, we consider looking for means to have a different view of the world, using different lenses as Seth Godin puts it. And what better view for me than what I really am, a father who brings kids to school.

Of course it indicates that I don't have a car (lucky for me?). Allow me to tell you where i'd get my inspiration. For those who have already experienced the agony and anguish of commuting to and from work, there are a lot of interesting things you can pick up on the way. Be it the bold lettered headline from the newspaper read by somebody seated accross you in a jeepney, or the loud mouth who seem not to mind other people hearing their intimate (often comical) secrets.

And of course there's always the joys of being a father.

Hope you'll get to read my posts and do visit me often.
