And Manny Pacquiao became the WBC lightweight champion after flooring David Diaz in the ninth round. By this time many articles are written and posted about the fight so I don't have to add some more insights; besides, I'm not a boxing analyst myself. So let me just point out some peculiar things I've noticed off the ring.

In-box - If you watch Eat Bulaga at the Kapuso Network, all streamers and placards are called collectively as the in-box. During the fight there were so many, and here's some that I saw:
1. MEXECUTIONER
2. Names of Morales, Barreira, Marquez, and Diaz crossed-out and a kicker that says: Is there no one else?
3. #1 Lb 4 Lb Fighter
4. (the most curious of all) Manny Pacquiao, Will you marry me? (held by a guy)

Champ with the Champs - The Boston Celtics squad came to have their picture taken with the WBC Champ. Sam Casell and Kevin Garnet made their faces prominent with Pacquiao.

David Diaz - After being helped up, Diaz was asked what was in Pacquiao's arsenal that did him, he gave this answer: He was fuckin' fast.
